We are delighted to invite you to the Women of Influence Lunch – a special event where students can honour a woman who has played an influential role in their lives.
Each student is welcome to invite one Woman of Influence – a mother, grandmother, aunt, or another female role model.Â
Announcing our keynote speaker is…
We are thrilled to welcome Old Girl, Shine Mentor and Sharesies Co-Founder, Brooke Roberts, as our keynote speaker. Brooke’s journey, from Woodford House student to co-founder, one of New Zealand’s leading investment platforms, is sure to inspire.
The event supports Hello.Friend
This year’s event also supports a cause close to the hearts of our students: Hello.Friend, a student-led non-profit on a mission to end period poverty in New Zealand. Supported by by Year 13 Communications Prefect and a group of student supporters, Hello.Friend provides high-quality reusable period products to girls who need them, with the goal of supporting 5,000 girls by 2025.
How you can help
Instead of a ticket cost, the Woodford House Parents’ Association is generously covering the lunch. We do however encourage families to support Hello.Friends by purchasing a Hello Pack (each purchase includes one donated to a Year 9 girl in need to use over their entire high school years) or making a donation. See the options when you register.
Register by Friday 5 September. Numbers are limited, so register now! We will close off registrations when we are at capacity.
